Your business is operational, you have an established customer base, your processes and tools have been in place over a number of years.


As with sport, its talent that gets you there but continual improvement that keeps you there.  The best athletes in the world are identified for their talent, but once brought onto a team they are surrounded by experts who help them in all aspects to ensure performance - diet, hydration, massage, physiotherapy, physiology, branding, etc. Its the same in business.

About me

I am from Ireland, brought up in Hong Kong, and now live in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a global citizen, I have always enjoyed the value of different cultures and perspectives. 


Throughout my career, as I have led teams, I have focused on coaching and leadership development to empower teams and businesses to drive outcomes and achieve their fullest potential by collaborating effectively. 


I have operated in various environments, from VC-backed to PE-owned to publicly traded.  I have a consulting background having worked with both Accenture and Deloitte. My operational experience includes holding senior service leadership roles in HPE, DDN, Guavus, VeloCloud, VMware, and Broadcom. 


Most recently, at VMware, I served as Vice President of Global Services, leading our integration into Broadcom and the subsequent divestiture of the VeloCloud business to Arista Networks. 


I understand the journey your team is on, and I am ready to engage and make an impact. I bring valuable insights and experience, combined with a human focus, to help you and your team move forward.

Community Engagement

I am currently serving as a Trustee on the Union School District board, which serves over 5,000 students across two middle and six elementary public schools in my community. 


Our three children attended USD public schools, and I take pride in contributing to the ongoing success of the district with a focus on achieving excellence in student outcomes.

Sailing

We have a sailboat based in San Francisco where we enjoy both racing in the Bay and cruising to explore the area with friends and family. This experience not only offers a great opportunity to get away from everything but also serves as a chance to reset our thinking and refresh while enjoying the beauty of San Francisco Bay.

Family

I enjoy traveling with my wife and family. This year we hiked the Camino in Spain and visited family in Ireland. We have three grown children, and we spend as much time with them as we can. Getting out in nature is something we all enjoy, and as we live in beautiful Northern California, this gives us many opportunities to do this.
